Heys,

I have something new-finally-, the MGS Choir is performing at the Esplanade Concert Hall on the 7th April 2009, Tuesday. It starts at 7.30pm... Tickets are at $20 per ticket (Concession for students, NSF and senior citizens:$15)... I shall give you some info on the MGS Choir:

Songs are found in every culture and woven into daily life. While there are those that are from our childhood or tell of stories long ago, there are some which are part of rituals, and others which sing of the dance in our heart and feet.

From the sacred poetry Hildegarde von Bingen and the kulning calls of Sweedish folk-hymn to the island dances of Japan and the sassy-skirt twirling dance of Latin America, the Methodist Girls' School Choir celebrates life in every aspect through songs in this special performance.

The Methodist Girls' School Choir has been sharing the joy of music and singing through performances and competitions since their formation. One of the 30 school choirs on Singapore's Ministry of Education's Choral Excellence Programme, the choir received the Gold award for the 4th Ambassador of the Arts Awards (2004) and has consistently achieved Gold awards at the biennial Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging Choir Competition. Representing Singapore in international festival-competitions, the Choir has toured San Fransisco (1999), Athens (2004), Bratislava (2007) and Prague (2007) and returned with excellent results.

Coached by Ms Jennifer Tham since 1998 and Mr Albert Tay since 2005, the choir's wide-ranging repertoire embraces the work of living composers, contemporary sacred and art music as well as spiritualand gospel music.

Okies I think that's all for the choir brochure info... Ugh, still have Physics and Chinese on Monday and Tuesday have Biology... Sighs.....

Heys,
i've got nothing to post lately... so this is gonna be quite short... if ur disappointed, too bad, MUAHAHAHAHA. no lah i'm not that mean :D. if ur disappointed, sry... i really got nothing to talk abt... hmm i wonder when my cousins are coming over from london... they so funny to watch... OH! i shall talk abt them today(no offense for not talking abt you Theron)! ok ok so hmmm, when they come over to sg, me, my sis and my other cousins are planning to play hide and seek with them at neptune court-aunt's place- and we will bring our own hp and... PLAY! Jo said that she wanna be the 'advisor'. She says she will tell the girls where the guys went-correctly-then will either say wrong/right stuff to the guys. XD oh yea havent introduced them yet... 1 is Zachary, hmmm i forgot how old he is :X... 2 is Max, he is erm... sry forgot again :X... ok ok anyways, if they lose, we said that we will bury them in the cat-poop infested sand pit XDDDDD. we discussed it the last time we met up at our aunt's place with our cousins. we're all girls btw. except for the guys from london. well, we were sitting altogether on the swing(you know those giant swings for 4 ppl?) and thought of this brilliant plan :D. btw did you know that we saw a cat poop in the sand pit thats how we know its cat-poop infested... :D ok we are just being mean.... (...) i pity them... ohh, this turned out to be a very long post in the end :D. the thing that's so different about this blog is that am not so formal with the language as in i don't use caps for start of sentence :D... okies i posted liaos at least u blog readers have something to read about... :D
